Crudo exists so that a buyer abroad can order from India with the same confidence as ordering down the road.
Our story
A trading house built on being straight with people
Crudo is a sourcing and export company based in Chennai. We buy from Indian vendors — growers, mills, processors, packers and manufacturers — and we export to buyers who need a reliable counterpart on this side of the transaction.
Our work covers three areas: food and agricultural products, industrial chemicals and technical manpower. The first is deliberately open-ended. We do not hold a catalogue and try to sell from it; buyers tell us what they want and we go and arrange it.
What ties the three together is the same discipline: understand exactly what is being asked for, find someone who can genuinely supply it, check it before it leaves, and document it properly. That is unglamorous work, and it is the whole business.
Our mission
To make buying from India uncomplicated — by finding the right vendor rather than the nearest one, agreeing the specification in writing before money moves, and telling buyers the truth about grade, season and lead time even when it costs us the order.
Our vision
To be the first call a buyer makes when they need something out of India — trusted less for the breadth of what we list than for the fact that what arrives is what was agreed.

Moisture, purity, size, packing — written down and agreed before an order is placed, so there is nothing to argue about later.

Paperwork prepared for the destination's requirements and shared for checking before the vessel sails, not after it has arrived.
Fair to both sides
Vendors get paid properly and buyers get what they paid for. A supply chain only repeats if both ends want it to.
